Ashbys Mannitol Broth (RDM-ASMB-01) recommended for culturing yeasts and molds from food and dairy products. Fungal broth is composed of soya peptone and dextrose used for cultivation of fungi. Soya peptone, serve as the source of nitrogen, amino acids, vitamins, other trace elements, required for the growth of fungi and molds. Dextrose supply carbon and energy source. The acidic pH makes the medium partially selective for the growth of fungi and inhibits the growth of bacteria.
